Class of 1950
Wanda "Willis" Lehman
Dear Classmates,
I’m sorry to miss the annual reunion, always look forward to it, but unable to attend this year. Like my smart (alik, alac, alic?) grandchildren say, “I double booked” —so did I.
Just too many fun things to do.
I’m fine, healthy as a – you know what; just a bit un-balanced. To some that is not unusual.
Love you all, see ya next year
Wanda “Willis” Lehman.

Hi,
I can’t make it. I am working, and I live so far away now in Arizona and I don’t have any family back in Lansing.
Please use the $30.00 I have sent for someone who can’t afford to come or to pay for some of the expenses the group has for the reunion.
Have a nice time, and I do miss the small town I grew up in.

His last address would have been in Raleigh, NC. I’m enclosing a flyer that advertises our shooting range business south and west of Eaton Rapids, MI. Bonnie "Pryor" Latourette
Hi All,
Sounds like a great idea but I have company coming from South Dakota that day so I won't make the reunion this year. Have fun!
I continue to enjoy retirement but also work with kids on a volunteer basis. In fact, tomorrow I will be doing an art project in two 5th grade classes. I also volunteer at the local nursing home; I love working with seniors there.
I hope you all have a great time.

Linda "Barker" Breclaw
I am sorry to be unable to join the group, as we have competing family events that weekend. It is my late sister (Marilyn Barker)’s 50th class reunion and it would have been nice to have seen some of her classmates. My husband, Ed and I have lived in the Chicago suburb of Glen Ellyn for 34 years and our two daughters and their families live nearby; we have 5 grandkids.
I was mostly a stay at home mom, then a teacher for 5 years along the way, and an executive assistant to CEO for 14 years before retiring in 2015. We are busy with our families, enjoy traveling; Ed has his own business running a peer advisory group that gives him flexibility.
I love returning to Grand Ledge and feel so lucky to have grown up in the small town atmosphere with the support of good people in the community and having attending GLHS. I appreciate the time and work of all those involved in keeping the reunion going and posting news of alumni, as I enjoy reading the updates.
Thank you for your efforts.
Enjoy the reunion!

Kay "Oden" Boyd
April 16, 2017
I was formerly Kay Oden, GLHS class of 1964. I am retired after many years of preschool teaching. I am married to Larry Boyd, a retired mechanical engineer. We recently celebrated our 25th anniversary. We also taught round dancing, similar to ballroom dancing, for some 30 years.
Together we have 4 children, 8 grandchildren and 6, soon to be 7, great grandchildren. Spending time with them and our many friends in the square dance community has been a great joy.
We live in rural Brooklyn, Michigan, near the beautiful Irish Hills. We are members of the Brooklyn Presbyterian Church, and enjoyed many years in the church choir.
I currently have a breathing issue requiring a Bi Pap and oxygen. As a result I no longer get out often, but now have fun making beaded jewelry.
I still look forward to news of school alumni events.
Steve: I will not be attending the alumni banquet, but I am enclosing my $25.00 check to help cover your costs.

Terry Himes
Terry was in the 1967 GLHS graduating class. In 1964 Terry could be seen shooting rockets (with mice) up behind GLHS
with Jeff Kenyon and John Richardson. They needed a biology experiment, and Terry just liked rockets and space. ;-)
Fast Forward to today; Currently Terry is working at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in Pasadena, CA. JPL does all deep space robotic missions. (http://www.jpl.nasa.gov)
He is the part of the Spacecraft Team for the Dawn mission, which is currently at a dwarf planet called Ceres.
Terry will be moving back onto the next Mars mission called InSight in June of this year. InSight will launch in May 2018 and
land on Mars in November 2018. It will perform surface science for one Mars year which is 2 Earth years. Since joining JPL
in 1990 working on the Mars Observer, Terry has been on 26 deep space missions, including the Curiosity Mars Rover.
Terry has one daughter (Jenny Himes-Dorsey) and two grand children, Gavin (13) & Chase (17). They live in Roanoke, VA.
Terry lives with his wife on the beach in Del Mar, CA. He can be reached at [email protected].
Terry is having too much fun, and never plans to retire. ;-)
