Linda Bartlett Wesseler
May 20, 1954 -- June 26, 2022 (Aged 68)
Linda Lou (Bartlett) Wesseler passed away unexpectedly on June 26, 2022. She was born May 20, 1954, in Lansing MI to Carl and Audre’ Bartlett. Linda grew up in Grand Ledge and went to Grand Ledge High School graduating in 1972. Linda played powder puff football and was given the name Mad Dog (by her older brother David) because of her aggressiveness on the football field.
In 1973 she married the love of her life, Paul Richard Wesseler, for 49 years they made their home in Wacousta. Linda and Paul loved to take day road trips where they would travel the back roads and stop in little towns along the route and of course check out the local pubs. They have one daughter Catina Rademacher. Linda and Catina were best friends, she loved being Catina’s mom and cherished every moment she got to spend with her. Catina blessed her with two beautiful grandchildren Cole and Cameron Rademacher, they were her world, she loved to spend time with them and spoil them. She had a very special bond with each of them, she could talk trucks and cars with Cole and everything from shopping to horses with Cameron. She loved to watch them and photograph them in all their activities.
Linda worked at Lansing Internal Medicine for over 30 years where she met life long and cherished friends. Upon her retirement Linda chose to pursue her real passion, photography. You could always find Linda at events taking pictures of her nieces and nephews, doing photo shoots with all the props to make the photo just perfect. She loved to take pictures of babies, families, and High School Seniors. Her passion turned into a successful business. Linda memorialized all the family events with her pictures. Every year she would gather all the family pictures, from the years’ events and create a video that would be shown at the Annual Family Christmas Eve Party, it was always the highlight of the party.
Linda had a love for life and Christmas (like her mother), she was always smiling and spreading Christmas Joy. She was a caregiver and she made her mission to take care of whomever needed her help, and she did in the kindest loving way. Linda loved being a part of a BIG family. She always made sure to spend time with each and every family member at family events, of course it helped that she was always carrying her camera around with her. Linda was always ready for a “sissy” outing, the 5 Bartlett girls off to find some trouble. She especially enjoyed her early morning chats with her brother Bob. She will be greatly missed by those she leaves behind: Husband Paul Wesseler, Daughter Catina Rademacher, Grand Children: Cole and Cameron Rademacher. Siblings: David Bartlett and wife Paula Bartlett of Lansing, Lisa Bartlett of Eagle, Susan Bartlett of Grand Ledge, Robert Bartlett and partner Dianne Freeman of Farmington Hills, Robin, and Husband Bruce Elliott of Sunfield, Patricia and husband Steve Matthews of Vermontville, Brother-in-Law Jim Wesseler of Wacousta, Sister-in-Law Linda and husband Ed Faivor of St. Johns. Many nieces, nephews, and even more great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents Carl and Audre’ Bartlett, In Laws Forest and Dorothy Wesseler, Sister-in-Laws, Linda Bartlett and Freida Burke.

Patricia Lynn Seddon (Pat), age 64, formerly of Grand Ledge, Michigan, passed away on November 2, in Washington, Iowa. She was born to the late John James and Patricia Ann Seddon on June 3, 1954, in St. Johns, Michigan.
Pat attended Grand Ledge schools from elementary through high school before attending Lansing Community College, where she graduated with an AA degree in Graphic Art Design. Pat worked as a graphic artist for the Michigan Department of Public Health for almost ten years before retiring because of health issues. She also worked as an artist for the First United Methodist church in Grand Ledge creating art for bulletins and the monthly Chimes newsletter. Pat also worked recess duty for the Grand Ledge Public Schools and enjoyed working with the elementary children. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church in Grand Ledge, Michigan. Family was Pat’s first passion and delight. Growing up her family would spend a week every summer on Lake Michigan at the Methodist Camp in Pentwater, Michigan. It was always a great family time together and members of her family still attend. In later years, every summer when her nieces, Joanna and Jessica, came to visit, she would get a refrigerator box and the three of them would play together with that box until it was a small piece of cardboard. She enjoyed her nieces and nephews as they were growing up - often getting right on the floor and playing games with them. She was a fun aunt and all her nieces and nephews loved her dearly. Dogs were also Pat’s love. Bruna was her first dog and was very loving and sweet. Rory was her second dog and full of mischief. They were her children and went with her everywhere. We often saw her driving down the road with her dog in the car with her. They comforted and adored her each in their own way. Pat is survived by her sisters, Cynthia (David) Malott of North Liberty, Iowa, and Laurie (Matt) Krakowiak of Xenia, Ohio. She is also survived by her brother, John (Mary) Seddon of Goshen, Indiana. She leaves behind her nieces and nephews as follows: Jessica (Scott Fiddelke) Malott and Joanna (Ben) Halsch, Katlin and Clinton Krakowiak, and Christopher and Kelsey Seddon. She is also survived by her great-nephews and great-niece; Sam Halsch, Emma Halsch and Owen Fiddelke. A visitation from 1:00 to 2:00 PM followed by a memorial service at 2:00 PM will be held at Peters & Murray Funeral Home in Grand Ledge, MI, on Friday, November 16. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First United Methodist Church, 411 Harrison Street, Grand Ledge, MI 48837 or Hospice of Washington County, 948 East 11th Street, Washington, IA 52353.
